Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June is an opportunity to celebrate with your community giving thanks for a lifetime of faith and service.
Your church may be wanting to host a party that brings the community together to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event. It’s a great chance to join local schools, youth groups and uniformed organisations to celebrate. Or maybe hold a lunch for older members of the community in the church hall. And, for the grand finale, you could invite everyone to a special church service on Pentecost Sunday, the final day of the four-day Platinum Jubilee celebration.
